Young Leaders Elementary is a small, diverse, PreK-5 elementary school in the South Bronx, with class sizes that average 22 students. Our staff is vibrant and energetic, and we are looking to add caring, passionate, and driven, TC trained teachers to our team! We have been a TC school since our start, four years ago, and we are dedicated to implementing the Workshop Model and TC curriculum successfully for our students.

Teachers at Young Leaders are very well supported by the Literacy Coach, TC Staff Developers, biweekly professional development sessions, and grade team meetings that are strategically scheduled to create multiple periods a week to collaborate.

Available positions include: Bilingual Kindergarden (Spanish spoken all day) Bilingual 2nd grade (transition students from Spanish to English) 4th grade ICT Special Education Teacher (Share classroom with General Education Teacher) 5th grade General Education Teacher (Special Education Certification preferred)
