IS 230 has an immediate opening for a middle school ELA teacher. Located in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY, IS 230 is a 6-8 Middle School deeply invested in its relationship with the Reading and Writing Project. It has housed the Coaching Institute and is a frequent stop for visitors. Workshop practices are shared across the school, including a focus on literacy in the content areas.
