Strong background in balanced literacy. In our third year as a TCRWP school, we are experienced classroom teachers and reading specialists who has knowledge of Teachers College Reading Writing Project. Understanding of a variety of reading assessments, NYS Assessments and Common Core Standards, experience using data to drive instruction, and knowledge of best practices preferred. Math Teachers need an understanding of CCSS, math centers, and inquiry based mathematics.
